A guy lives a pretty raucous life, drinking, womanizing, gambling, the whole lot. He dies, gets to the pearly gates, thinks "I'm sooooo f***ed!"

St. Peter is there with a big thick book. "Name please?"

"John Smith" says the guy.

"Smith, Smith, Smith, here you are - John Smith. Come on in."

"Are you sure?!? John ALLEN Smith."

"John... yep here you are, John Allen Smith."

"I'm shocked. I must be honest St. Peter, I lived a pretty wild life. Committed my fair share of sins. I didn't expect to be welcomed through the pearly gates!"

St. Peter said "Well, then, it's a good thing we don't keep records."

"You don't keep records!!!! That's incredible. I sure didn't expect that!" says the lucky Mr. Smith. The gates open and he goes in. As he passes through he sees a bunch of people standing in a circle; each one is kicking the one next to them in the butt, over and over. "What's going on over there?" the man asks.

St. Peter replies, "Oh them. They just found out we don't keep records too."
