The door switch is inside the lock unit, you may be able to hack it to always keep the timer control fooled into thinking its closed all the time, but it would probably have some unintended consequences.

The best way to defeat the system is to just unhook the harness from the motor, although this may keep your seatbelt light on, and in some vehicles at least, it will disable the SRS airbag. IMHO this is one thing thats just best left alone.
