The earlier, lighter 3rd Gen RX-7 rims weigh ~12# each, while the later versions weigh ~15# each. I have a set of each and wouldn't even think about autoXing with the 12# version. They will easily handle 245/45 tires and not rub (well, at least not with at least .5 deg of neg camber). I'm in the process of figuring out what it takes to fit 275/45s on all four corners (hot on the heels of Ben&Dave - except they've got the 275/45s mounted on stock rims with 1" spacers).

p.s. $400 is a little high, think I picked up my 15# set for around $300 and the 12# set for $250 (they're chrome and the chrome is bad on two of them....)
