Can someone explain that for me? And is that the only function? What's the different between on and off manual mode as in the hwy cruising 60+mph?
Ah.. good old manual button.

The usage of the button is to hold the shift point.

For example,

You are at the traffic light. You want to manually hold on the first gear till you reach 6000 RPM instead of 3000 that the car normally shifts at. To accomplish that, you press the manual button -- manual light comes on -- shift car into 1. Press gas till you hit 6000 on the RPM. Then shift up into 2 and so on and so fourth. You can also downshift manually into 3rd -- I don't know why anyone would do that since it will screw up the tranny bad and the SVX already comes with weak trannies.

Hope it helps... anyone else? Randy, am i correct?
