Is there an easy way to tell if it is a Phase I or Phase II EJ25? It would seem that the 2000 leagcy GT changed part way through the year to the Phase II.
Also, the Phase II EJ25 apparently has a visible leak from the bottom of the head/block mating surface when the head gasket fails, as opposed to the Phase I which does not.
