Definitely do it yourself! If the dealer has already thrown the 8 hours number out there, you can bet they are going to be looking to charge the labor rate for that. Probably anywhere from $600-$1000 out the door to get a new window in there.

Meanwhile, for $50 and a couple hours of your time, it's a done deal and you can have it back together before the weekend.

You've replaced your entire interior! Getting to where the window is at should be easy for you! Adjusting it may be another issue (per you front passenger window dilemma).
