That said, a rear turbo would be too boring for a sophisticated car-crafter like yourself. Plus, the fact that your wife would barely know it was installed, "look honey, nothing under the hood, it must be the octane booster" just wouldn't be worth the trouble. Imagine, not getting into trouble for 'ruining' another Subaru, where's the fun in that?

I cant tell you how many times my wife has said something along those lines. "Honey did you do something to the WRX/Evo/Skyline etc because it seems so much faster now"! Ummm, no... its just.... ah... you haven't driven it in a while so it seems much faster. "Oh, I guess you are right".
A remote mount turbo... interesting idea. I always liked the idea of STS system. But thats just the street racer in me talking. The older, more mature, sensible side is telling me to buy a nice AUTOMATIC G8GT. God help me, I am getting old!
