Hi, Sorry for the confusion on the rally. My intentions were for the drive to be a challenge, but for everyone to arrive at the destination. There were directions for seven different routes, all scenic and fun to drive. Probably should have narrowed down the options a bit.
Off routes should have been clearly stated, long distances between directions noted to increase enjoyment of the drive and alternate routes instructions given separately. Eric suggested a sealed envelope be given to each participant that includes a map with clear instructions for getting back should it be required.
You guys were the test subjects for my first rally. They are a lot of fun when written correctly. I hope you will trust me for another one.
The 2010 Crazy Maker Rally was just that.
