Thumbs up After a long wait for 24 years, this is gr8!!!!

Atlast India has won the inaugural 20-20 cricket world championship over their arch rivals Pakistan while trashing all time favorites Australia in semi-final and taking revenge by trashing out england (India has lost the one day series by 3-4 in their recently concluded series in england) and also trashing out hosts SA. This final is considered the best, most exciting, nail-bitting final after a very long time (since 1993 world cup), as since then Australians are dominating and winning world cup finals by making the matches one-sided. But this series left some bitter taste for Australians, where they lost to minnows like Zimbabwe too. Indians kept their winning record against arch rivals pakistan in world cup matches. Pakistan could have won the match if they had enough wickets in hand or even the player who was out last wouldn't had played that idiotic stroke at that point of time which saw him caught behind. But both teams showed a great display on the field.

Why India winning is soo gr8 thing now is, there are no big 3 players in the current Indian team played for this series. Lots of new and young players with new captain.

Check out the final over of Pakistan's innings here...

Everything went smooth untill that illiterate Pakistan captain made some fooolish/stupid comments at the time of presentation ceremony. I am quoting him exactly...First of all I want to say something over here. I want to thank you back home Pakistan and where the MUSLIM lives all over the world. We gave our 100%, India have a strong batting line-up. We did well to restrict them to less than 160 but our batting didn’t come through. The Indians bowled really well and we played some bad shots. That’s why we ended up on the losing side in this game.”
. This is the first time someone ever has brought religion onto cricket field. Even the great commentators (once great players) open their mouth for his unorthodox comment all of a sudden. Maybe he didn't realise that there are muslims too in Indian side and the Indian player who got the Man of the Match award was indeed a muslim and the famous Indian celebrity who was there cheering up Indian team is also a muslim, while there is a Hindu playing in his own team. I really pity for his ignorance.
