I made a quick template, stitched all but one side, slid the visor in and hand stitched the last side. It wasn't perfect but it did some out pretty clean. Obviously if you do have mirrors you will need to pull them off and then put them back on but the visors I did were plain.

A matter of clarification here...
We aren't talking "ugly" here... We are talking a defective plastic thingie that causes the visor to droop and not stay up in place. The extra fabric would actually cause it to droop more!
