The tires may be the same diam. when both sets are brand new. But different manufacturers use different rubber compounds for their different model and size tires.
The 2 sets of tires may wear differently.
My suggestion is that every time you rotate the tires (~5000 mi.), you also check their diameter. If one set stars wearing out quicker than the other set, move the slow wearing set to the front and keep it there for a longer period. The front is heavier and normally gets 90% of the torque. If you need to do this, you should still check the diameters on a regular basis.
