You absolutely have to respect a proper beard. A beard is a symbol of manlyness, of power! 1500 years ago, Billy Mays could have commanded an entire country with his beard alone.
While not as perfect as Billy Mays, he in, in a way, my hero. Some day I hope to have a beard as powerful as his.
