I've used eco-green before. Doesn't work all that bad, but it doesn't work well on the really grimy stuff.

Steam works awesome, by far the best engine cleaner I've used before. But it's hard on the environment, and your lungs if you take in a wiff of it. Either way its the stuff I use.

Just shoot it on and let it sit for 10 min. I tend to use at least 3/4 of a car on the engine....turns everything silver.
