Scuze' the blurriness, but my scanner can't see depth very well (duh  ). The old (top) remote is what came with my 92', the new (bottom) remote, I purchaced from a dealer around 96'. Hope this helps somebody...

That is very, very interesting, indeed. Because, although my "innards" look more like the "new" photo (only one button), my remote still has the "antenna" wire with the metal tab that is in the "old" photo. This wire broke once, seriously hampering the range of my remote. Hmmmm there must have been an "in between" model, as well. It took me too darned long to resolder that wire, so, I'm not going to chance taking it apart again (unless it fails), so, you'll just have to take my word for it.
Will post pictures if it comes down to HAVING to take it apart again.
