You need to remove the inner door panel first, there are then three 10mm nuts that are on studs that come through the door holding the cladding in place.
There are also a series of plastic clips, IIRC I priced them from Subaru at ~$7.00 each
If you give them a quarter turn from inside the door, you may be able to save them.
