You probably should go into business then, 'cos gas is only going to get more expensive, and if worst fears are realized, scarce, sooner than later.

Don't know what a nightly charge would do to the typical power bill but it couldn't hurt any worse than $4-$5-$6 per gallon gasoline, especially as photovoltaic electric generating systems become more affordable in coming years.
