This topic has been hashed around here before, and my uneducated opinion remains the same: The SVX is aerodynamically cleaner without the factory wing, and if the wing adds any downforce at all, it's solely due to the added weight on the tail. It is not some sort of upside-down airfoil to provide "negative lift," nor is it angled with the trailing edge higher than the leading edge, a configuration which would deflect airflow upward and thus apply some downward pressure to the rear of the car, at speed.
