Any one know where's the best place to find crankshaft and bearings and rings too while I'm at it?

On an inline or a v-style engine, I would say he *might* have been able to make that deduction by removing the caps and inspecting the journals and bearings. But on our engines, it is not possible. So he is making a judgment based on the sound alone. While it is possible, I know he never saw the crankshaft to see if it was scored or not.
And to answer your question on where to get the parts.... They are dealer only except for the bearings which are EJ22t bearings, just order two sets of mains and 6 pairs of rod bearings. You could always buy one of our short or long blocks pre-assembled
