So apparenlty he can't check the packs with a multimeter but tested the wires that connect that run back to the cars computer, I believe? Testing those on the right side of the engine (passenger side of the car) came back with:

(at 2000k)

rear = 1000
middle = 1570ish
front = 1629ish

Does it sound like the rear cable to the computer (or wherever it's going) needs replaced? 500-600 seems like a bit of a drop but I don't know anything above what it's reading in regards to the electronics and such.... apprently neither does my friend.

Is there a way to test the coil packs with a multimeter and if so at what setting?
