My SVX says it is made in 02/93, I read the plaque along the backside where the driver's side door closes. Now unless I was suppose to take the last 3 digits of the first bunch of letters on the VIN (which reads 153 BTW). But I read the last three digits on the last part of my VIN it showed 227, just to let you know.
