It could also be worn out CV joints on your halfshafts. Same way or checking. Grab ahold and try to wiggle them up and down. Lots of wiggle at the cv joint means a short trip to breakage.
Rear d'shaft could be out of balance, rotors could be warped a little bit, tires are out of balance/under inflated, out of round or the rims are tweaked. Struts are wearing out, allowing slight wheel hop when no power is applied. Lastly, check your ball joints on the knuckle and the tierods. Checking thoes is the ol' grab and wiggle meathod. Lift a tire off the ground by jacking the car up *only one tire at a time..* and try to move it left to right, up and down, tward your and away from you. There should be NO play when you do this. If there is, then somthings worn out and needs to be replaced.

These are just about all the causes of the good'ol death wobble.
