Actually, the dealer told me the remans go for around $3500. This was before mine was rebuilt, because they hadn't opened it up to see what was wrong with it so we were looking at all options. Non of the non-wear components were damaged, so the tranny was rebuilt instead. Shifts real smooth now and doesn't slip at all.

Maybe you should look at rebuild pricing? Unless you know for sure that your tranny's toast...
