I've had good luck with Mobil but I don't do the sustained high-rpm stuff either... Mainly just drag racing for me. Also used Redline for some time (advanced auto parts carried it for a while) but now they don't and I don't feel like ordering online. I'd rather just go and pick it up. Currently the car is filled with 5w-40 Mobil 1.
3 of 4 motors I've destroyed have been filled with Amsoil, so I'm gonna stay off of that stuff for a while. The rest of their products I've been extremely happy with though. (ATF, 75-90 extreme pressure gear lube, engine flush)
I've heard excellent things about Miller oils (from the u.k.) and nothing but good reviews about Motul, but again there's the cost to consider.
Whatever you do, just don't use a Fram filter. hahahah
