The SVX, to me, is a luxury sports car, with a rather firm ride, and smooth power(thanks to the trany) its a good car to own, as long as you maintain it. there are only 3 main faults: Trany's over heating, brake rotors warping, and rear bearings wearing out prematurely. The rest of the car is above average, lots of plastic, solid galvanized metal, comfortable seats, fully optioned out interior, and one very exceptional look.

All the advice you have seen in this thread is great, and listen to it, but when it comes time to make a decision on the right car for yourself. Chose a car that a certified Mechanic has looked at and can tell you he/she would buy him/herself.
The fact that your asking people on this forum is probably the best thing you could have done.

FYI. just 5 months ago I was here doing the exact same thing.
