I just attempted to fix our old rear projection TV set last weekend. If the fix holds (it was an intermittent problem), I may be able to convince the wife to let me buy one. She is still freaking out over all the money we spent on PM on both cars this summer and fall. Everything hit at once. Tires, brakes, fluid changes, new iridium plugs, O2 sensors and on and on.

Of course, this wouldn't be an issue if she had a job that actually paid a living wage. I am married to the most underpaid, highly educated, genius on earth, I think. My life is like a scene from Top Gun. I keep telling Maverick to engage.
