This would indeed be nice but during the 2+ yrs I have owned my SVX I have never had any of the reactions so often reported here. No one finds the car worth a special look or regards it is extra ordinary as such a variety is on our roads. I simply do get any special looks or comments. One or two who know the car have spoken but no one has out of curiosity.
Although there is only a small population down here (4m. odd.) there is a huge cross section of cars on the road. Everything from Japan and the East is represented as well all European models including some exotics.
However there are no late model US cars except for the Jeep range of 4x4's and a few of those strange retro Chryslers . One sees a few winged cruisers now and again run by enthusiasts but thats about all. Pre 1939, US cars amounted to probably 40% of the total but not now.
