First let me ask you do you mean the 3rd O2 sensor on 96-97 model years?
Because all cars with fuel injection have O2 sensors that tell the ecu how much fuel to inject based on how much unburned exhaust there is.
The 3rd O2 is part of the emissions control bull****, as is the egr, so many countries arund the world do not have it.
