Since Aunt Eva was the LAST surviving member of the Wilson family that appeared on the 1910 census, I had both colorized and the original copy of the crest available for the viewing pleasure of the cousins. I even gave one to Aunt Eva to take with her.
The brothers and cousins all agreed that the colorized version was better. They also agreed that we should not add anything else.
I think that I passed out about 30 copies! Of the recipients, the only ones that had seen it before were the ones that I had sent it to.

I now know a lot more about my 'roots' and will be going to a lot of places to view ancestorial burial grounds. I will need to take the Husquevarna and a tank of gas to see some of them, but then, I cut firewood year round!
I guess I'll have to drive the GMC there.
