I didn't mind posts going "willy nilly" and threads becoming ropes of multiple strands and off topic and on and on and on. I rather liked it. But, in order to appease (there's that word again), we did it THIS way. I'm sure we could have found some software that did it "just like yahoo." But, that didn't seem to be what most people wanted (at least those who gave an opinion). SO, here we are. I'm comfortable with my new surroundings, and as far as people coming to "our" house . . . "when in Rome . . ."
