I know this is a relatively old post, but I just wanted to say, I used to live in the Soo, and had my SVX for my last 9 months there and only saw 2 others the whole time I lived there. One of which was the first one I'd ever seen, a Claret '93, back in summer of 1999 at Northside Toyota (some dumbass traded it on a Lexus SUV). The other was a green one, not sure what year, only saw it once.
Anyway, just wanted to ask where you found your car, and more importantly, where you had the swap done. Was in done locally? I asked around and most people I talked to didn't want to touch it. Mister Transmission (on Pim) said they'd do it, without asking any questions or hesitation, and that kind of made me nervous.
Anyway, I still haven't had the swap done, but if someone up there did it, maybe I can make the trek back this year to have it done...
