You're partially right. acceleration will improve, hanlding will not improve unless it is done right. Much of the weight of the SVX is down low and centered. Removing low centered weight simply raises your center of gravity and ride height which is why the same SVX with an auto will outhandle the same SVX with a manual (assuming everything else remains the same).
