My car had a leak in the upper rear side glass. Is the glass firmly fixed in place, can you move the top edge of it at all?

This glass was glued in place with some kind of silicone sealant. On my car the silicone had dried out and cracked. I could move the window enough to get a knife blade in and cut away the remaining silicone. Then I removed the window, cleaned it up and glued it back in again.

If you can't get the window out then the other option is to try and squirt some silicone sealant in around the edge to seal it. But it that doesn't work then you will have made it even harder to remove the window.

You have to remove the garnish panels on the outside too. Be aware that the clips will break off and need replacing.
