Question Rumble during shifts after hot

Hi Gang,

Happy Friday afternoon!!!

A few months back I posted that I was having a rumble sound when the trany shifted from 1st to 2nd. It does it after the trany is warmed up and when I am briskly accelerating. I have now noticed a slight rumble when it is going into 4th gear. It’s not as noticeable as the 1st and 2nd change. When I pull the resistor it does not rumble, even after it has heated up. I also notice a slight rumble noise when driving around 55 mph. I was having bearing noise as well but fixed it after replacing both rear bearings.

I did change my fluid (not a complete flush) and the fluid looked great. While doing the fluid I also replaced the left front axle. I am still having the same symptoms after replacing these parts.

Could this be my transfer clutch? The noise sounds like it is coming from the same area that I hear the AWD thump when driving in the snow.

Seems like I remember seeing this type of thing addressed in the past but I could not find it when searching.

Thanks for the help.

Have a great weekend!
