The Dummy switch doesn't cost more than a real switch.....you're comparing the Dummy with the Cap. The cap is the part of the switch you actually push....the part that says "security" or "cruise". A dummy is a blank cap w/ no picture or words on it. The switches you are looking at aren't available seperately...you can buy the caps, but to get any of the real, functioning switches you have to buy the whole assembly. The Canadian one is different because Canadian switch assemblies were slightly different. Next to their rear defrost is the heated seat switch.
