I used to be quite involved with BMWs of that era. Of course even bulletproof cars with 210k on them and 25 years old have to be approached with open eyes - but yes, those were great cars. Beautiful, classic, distinctive BMW style that is lacking in the current models (to me). Still had a very european feel to them. Powerful, luxury and great handling for a relatively large car. I'd love to have one of them now and I'd jump on it, but that's just me.
