I had a similiar problem it ended up being the alternator it would randomly spike was hard to find because it wasnt constant it just happened when we were taking readings and it was pretty high it popped the link and the horn abs circuits were somehow affected it even killed the battery so what i did was switch out alternator and battery i got a nice one at napa and did the alt cable upgrade ever since all prob stopped . also i had christmas lights in dash when i accelerated maybe linked to alt either way i eliminated basic issues that trouble the svx.
