I bought my '92 Claret November '05, un-driven and sight unseen, it was in San Diego. In January we flew from St. Louis to LA (2,000 miles.) Then we took a cruise down to Acapulco and back, with several stops along the way - well, she said if I get the SVX then she gets the cruise (3,500 miles.) We then picked up the red beauty and headed back to St. Louis, driving about 250 miles on old Route 66 (wonderful ride!) and stopping at the Grand Canyon and various other Southwest sights along the way (2,400 miles.)
Total distance to get my first (and only SVX) was 7,900 miles, the trip was priceless (and I'm still paying for it.)
