Wheelskins

I just wrapped my steering wheel with a two-tone cover. First, the sand color is not as close to our beige as I had hoped. Second, there are areas on the wheel where the cover is just not big enough to completely wrap it. Third, the waxy thread, while easy to sew with, got dirty while I was sewing on the cover. Hopefully It will eventually wear off and/or become one uniform shade of monkey brown. If I were to do it over, I might just go with the leather dye. Maybe wrapping the wheel in a neutral color like black would avoid the color mismatch.

One thing I can say, however, is that I like the "thicker" steering wheel. I feel like I get a better grip and it is more comfortable.
