thanks for the info guys. actually just before i read the replies i took a good look under the hood, put two and two together and figured it was the sensor sticking out of the water pipe. thanks for the clarification though james cause even though i thought that might be it, it just seemed to simple a fix for the svx. anyway, i ordered a new one online and hopefully it does it.
