let me break out the NJ law book....

i couldn't find anything right away, but first lesson in law is that if there isn't a law against it, they can't punish you. i have open the 2002 edition of the NJ criminal law and motor vehicle hand book and no where can i find that it is illegal to park in that fashion, except on public streets...unless there are clear white lines telling you to do so. there is not mention about private property. i will keep looking, but i can't find anything here

check with the local laws and regulations, that might make a difference. there might be an ordinance in your town against parking like that. you should be able to get a website to search from the municipal building...good luck

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.
