Won a street race!
Yesterday I raced this big dump truck stoplight to stoplight, about 1/4 mile. I could hear him revving it up to redline in every gear but I slowly pulled farther and farther ahead. By the time I crossed the finish line at the 2nd stoplight, I was 8 or 9 car lengths (or 4 dump truck lengths) ahead. I backed off and he tried to do the "ricer flyby" but the light at the finish line turned red before he got through so he had to stop. Chalk up another victory for the SVX!
Disclaimer: This race was performed under relatively safe conditions, in that neither the SVX nor the dump truck ever exceeded the posted 35 mph speed limit.
