No question, XT-6. These are the coolest cars. Weighs NOTHING more than the 4 cylinder XT Turbo! and 40 more hp, 50 more torque! The XT-Turbo did 0-60 in about 10, the XT-6 in the high 7's with a manual, low 8's with the auto.
Reliability is excellent. They will leak oil from the crank seal at about 100k, however, but it's only about $40 to fix this with a timing belt change.
Use synthetic 10W-30 in these engines.
So:
Reliability: XT-6 1991 (better air suspension lines, some improvements...and compared to XT-6, the XT-Turbo is like glass...)
Performance: XT-6
Speed: XT-6 (heard about 126)
Steering: XT-6 (Cybrid system!)
Handling: XT-6
Comfort: XT-6 (best seats)
Cool digital dash: XT-Turbo (someone has to put that thing on an XT-6!)
Cool height control button for off road use: XT-Turbo (but the XT-Turbo had a very delicate system)
Luxury: XT-6 (everything but leather)
Power to weight ratio: XT-6 by a LONG shot.
Exterior design: XT-6 (nicer bumpers, fog lights, cool looking alloys that are 5 nut so can be easily changed)
So, basically, get an XT-6 from 1991 in mint condition...
Now, if only I could find one...
