I received one of the keylessride remotes today and programmed it without any problems whatsoever. Works really great.

They sent me the two button remote (1 button for lock, 1 button for unlock) Once the remote is programmed, it doesn't matter which button you use, either button will lock/unlock the car. I guess if one button ever malfunctions, I have a spare to use... or each button should last twice as long.

Seriously, it looks to be so much better constructed and sturdier than the stock remote. The neoprene gasket that goes around the perimeter suggests it is much more water resistant as well. The range seems a lot greater as well. (plus the green LED that comes on when you press the remote is a perfect match for the halo around the driver's soor keyhole)

For the purist in me, I have two brand new in plastic bags, stock remotes.

Here are pictures of both the 1 and 2 button remotes.

UPDATE:

I called keylessride customer service to ask them about the 1 button remote. They said that they were sorry that they sent me a two button one instead. They were expressing a 1 button remote out to me, which I received today, along with a return prepaid envelope to send the first one back. No hassles at all. Great to deal with.

When holding the 1 button remote, your thumb naturally falls to the button.
