About tthe tranny, it only has 9,000 miles on it. I paid $3,600 to have it done along with the CVs, starter, TC, front diff, etc.; it was a total self-destruct. Done by my brother-in-law (who didn't cut me a good deal but did great work, truly); used all new or reman. parts DIRECT from Subaru, plus some sort of kinda expensive aftermarket kit that made it stronger or better to deal with the heat; I will find out...
Who knows of a fair price for this item? I certainly wouldn't let it go for less than $900 (1/4 the price); I would keep it for my next car. It would also have to be removed. But again members, please let me know what is fair here.
