so i was sitting at a stoplight, waiting for it to turn green.. finally it changes color and i hop off the line.. in no particular hurry, but the car acts like it's got a hair throttle.. it jumps into second gear and i swear it felt like there was a V8 under the hood.. i just sort of went "woah......"

anyway, about five seconds later, the Check Engine light blinks on and off. I went "WOAH..." nothing seemed to be malfunctioning.. engine temperature was normal, battery charge was fine.. rolled down the windows, put her in neutral and tapped the gas a couple times.. no unusual sounds.. a little ticking, probably need to run a can of injector cleaner through the gas tank, but really nothing out of the ordinary.. the light went out as fast as it came on and it didn't return..

any thoughts?????
