Resurrected!
I did a search and resurrected the thread because I had the same question involving the FWD vs AWD diff. I actually posted in it to get confirmation. As you can see I got the results that I needed. Updated information. I did not rely soley on the information from the original posts. I am just now trying to decide what to do. I have two good and complete (extra) trannies and one bad FWD tranny. Also, one newly rebuilt tranny in the car I just bought, but with a bad front differential. Maybe I can talk my nephew out of the differential on the bad tranny that went along with the car I sold him since I gave him a good one to replace it with------hummmmm.
