When I floor the car it will ALWAYS without exception whatsoever shift at 6250. Several times I've heard that it should shift at 7000. What could be the problem? Could this be something because it is a 92 and later they had a higher redline on later years? This does it in all modes of the transmission, D 3 2 & 1 even in manual mode. It surprised me when I had the car in 1 once I reached 6250 it shifted to second gear. I never knew cars would do that.
