Here is a picture of the dropping resistor:

It's located behind the battery on the driver's side. It regulates line pressure for the transmission and if it works properly it will have a resistance of 10 Ohms. If it doesn't work at all, you get a Solenoid A TCU code and a flashing power light on startup.
