Chuck, I've had this problem, on and off, since I've had the car. I wound up having to completely clean all the old lubricant out of the tracks, and start over. Still, for a while, I'd have to poke my hands out the back of the roof, hook my fingers around, and push it forward (the right side was trailing the left -- it took a while to straiten out) -- then, push the button to finish closing it. Now it closes fine. I still have to give it a "bump" to open, unless I'm at speed (about 60 mph). I just probably need to do a little silicone around the gasket.
