I can't recall right now but don't the SVX visors have the support point like the BMW example?

Quick photo of a BMW 775 visor. Search Google and almost all of them have 2 support points. There are even visors with monitors and DVD Players built in
The SVX design is flawed and makes no sense. The stress you apply at the free end is sent back to the lone pivot point. |
